MOVING TEXT VERY NICE

I am trying my very hardest, ok?

Hi, I'm Sam Baldwin – a graphic designer with a passion for creating vibrant, eye-catching visuals that bring events to life. Whether it’s a concert, party, or theatrical performance, I love designing marketing materials that capture the energy and spirit of an experience before it even happens.

My journey into graphic design started in the world of theatrical event marketing, where I first explored how design can set the tone for an entire production. This led me to work on a variety of projects, from live music events to creative campaigns for private parties and festivals. Most recently, I earned a certificate in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute's Continuing Education program, where I honed my skills and expanded my creative toolkit.

Before diving into design, I studied theater and philosophy in undergrad, which deeply influenced my approach to visual storytelling. I believe that design, like any form of art, should convey meaning, provoke thought, and invite people into an experience.

Stylistically, my work draws inspiration from a blend of 80s punk posters, the bold aesthetics of early 2000s movies, and current design trends. I like to keep my design work diverse – no two projects should ever look the same. Every new brief is an opportunity to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and experiment with different styles.

For me, the most important part of design is to have fun with it. Design is not just about rules and grids; it’s about bringing a little bit of whimsy into the world. Whether it’s through bold typography, quirky visuals, or unexpected color combinations, I aim to create designs that are playful, exciting, and memorable.

If you’re looking for a designer who’s not afraid to take risks and bring a sense of fun into every project, I’d love to work with you!
